About me

My name is Emily Tucker

I started on this birth doula adventure in 2010 and attended my 1st birth just after New Years in 2011. I was DONA trained under the guidance of two fantastic instructors, and alongside other women who were volunteers for their local crisis pregnancy centres. I was born and raised in Saskatchewan, and it’s where we had our 1st two children before moving to Ontario in 2005. I am a wife to Jason (2003) and together we have 4 children!  We have boy/girl twins born by c-section in 2005, son born in 2010 (VBAC), and daughter born in 2019 (2VBAC at home). I have personal experience with preterm labour, preterm delivery, c-section, natural birth, VBACs, Hyperemesis Gravidarum (x3), breastfeeding beyond a year, breastfeeding twins, baby wearing, and so much more!

I am a stay at home, homeschool mom, and I volunteer for several community organizations. We have lived in Woodstock, Ontario for 20 years and I love serving the families of my community through childbirth education and birth support!

I was blessed to be able to have my 4th child at home, my 2VBAC, under the care Stratford Midwives

My commitment

I am dedicated to providing information, education, and unwavering support to expectant mothers throughout their birthing journey.
